Murat was only 14 when he first stepped into the upholstery trade. At that age he was mostly running around making teas and coffees for the older craftsmen, but he was also quietly paying attention. After years of learning and perfecting the craft, CK Upholstery was born. Murat launched the business together with Gemma, his partner in the venture. What began at the back of a home garage quickly became a shared mission. The space was tiny, sometimes so tight that pieces had to be shifted around just to make room for the next job, but it was full of drive. Together they built trust with their first customers, worked late into the night, and pushed through the early challenges of starting something from the ground up.
